Hi! I am Jess! Career Booster is my brainchild! I have spent 12 years working in a corporate environment, both being trained by and training people at all levels. I have successfully coached some of the highest performers within the organisation and they attribute much of their success to our time together. I believe that technical expertise alone will not lead to success, so my passion lies in soft skill development. I have developed an arsenal of soft skill training content most of which I learnt gradually from committed managers.
In the increasingly intense working environment time pressure on these managers is at an all time high. Their capacity to coach and to calmly review pieces of work has reduced. This means that the soft skill coaching that I was lucky to receive is happening less and less. Further, with many different communication modes and constant connection, it can be difficult to ‘see the forest from the trees’ as we are constantly being presented problems to solve. The most successful leaders in future will learn early how to create space and lead their workdays. I have seen how overwhelming ‘reaction mode’ can be and how it leads to anxiety, tension and burnout.
I have designed the Career Boost Training Program to give all the information I learnt gradually, and often via osmosis, to you in one go.
